Data Protection

As our world continues to digitize, we understand now more than ever that protecting our customers’ data is vital. We strive to ensure that privacy risks are minimized while allowing the purposes of the process to be met whenever possible.

We comply with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) as we process personal data on a regular basis within daily business. We are entrusted with confidential and sensitive information of our clients and employees. Therefore, every employee and every customer who works with us has absolute confidence in our professional secrecy.

As the whole cargo-partner organization has access to our shared IT systems, we must have binding corporate rules, like the Data Protection General Directive. This directive applies for all, there is no difference in processing whether a country from the EU is involved in a shipment or not.

The breach of confidentiality obligations, data leaks, hacker attacks etc. may have negative impacts and are therefore treated with highest priority. We maintain adequate standards and technical systems for data protection that ensure appropriate data security including protection against unauthorized or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage.

In addition to data protection best practices and e-learning courses which all employees are required to complete, we regularly inform employees on data protection topics and new processes via our internal newsletter.
