Operating across three strategic facilities in Budapest, Gyál (Prologis Industrial Park), and Vecsés (BUD Cargo City), cargo-partner Hungary provides integrated air, sea, road, rail, and contract logistics solutions to domestic and international customers.

Strategic commercial leadership
As part of its ongoing business expansion, cargo-partner has strengthened its commercial leadership with the appointment of Szabolcs Pál as Head of Sales. In his new capacity, Szabolcs leads the company’s sales and business development teams, driving market growth and deepening strategic partnerships across key vertical sectors. Szabolcs brings nearly 20 years of industry experience to the role. Prior to transitioning into commercial leadership, he built a solid foundation in logistics operations and controlling, giving him an end-to-end understanding of supply chain efficiency and commercial viability.

Focus on customer value and tangible results
Attila Becze, Managing Director of cargo-partner in Hungary, explained: “Hungary is a central gateway for supply chains across Central and Eastern Europe, particularly in automotive, electronics, healthcare, and industrial manufacturing. Szabolcs’s comprehensive operational background, combined with his strategic sales perspective, makes him an ideal fit for our team. His leadership will be instrumental as we continue to broaden our market footprint, drive synergies within the NX Group, and deliver measurable value to our partners.”

Szabolcs Pál, Head of Sales at cargo-partner Hungary, commented: “cargo-partner has built an enviable reputation for operational reliability and customer-first solutions. My approach to business development is anchored in two core principles: ‘there is no romance in numbers’ and ‘there is no better reference than a satisfied customer.’ I look forward to working closely with our teams and customers to craft competitive, data-driven supply chain solutions that deliver long-term success.”

Specialized solutions: CEIV Pharma and certified handling
cargo-partner’s growth in Hungary is backed by specialized capabilities designed for demanding industry verticals. The company’s facility at Vecsés (BUD Cargo City) holds the prestigious IATA CEIV Pharma certification, verifying compliance with the world’s most rigorous pharmaceutical transport and temperature-controlled handling standards. Supported by specially trained personnel, continuous temperature tracking, and dedicated procedures, cargo-partner ensures the integrity of sensitive vaccines, biologics, and healthcare products throughout the transit chain.

Sustainable transport and green corridors
In parallel with expanding its logistics network, cargo-partner Hungary is at the forefront of the group’s sustainability roadmap. Through its ongoing cooperation with the HHLA Pure initiative, cargo-partner facilitates climate-neutral rail transport linking major European ports with Hungarian distribution hubs. In 2025 alone, the Hungarian organization moved over 6,140 TEUs via carbon-neutral rail corridors, saving hundreds of tons of emissions and offering customers certified, eco-conscious transport alternatives.
