Electric Vehicles and Alternative Fuels
cargo-partner supports lower-emission road transport through electric vehicles, alternative fuels, and data-driven network optimization. Electric trucks are already used in our operations, and we can also arrange electric-vehicle transport for customers who request it.
As an alternative to conventional fuels, cargo-partner offers biofuel solutions such as Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO). This demand-led offer includes physical usage of HVO by sub-contracted trucks on agreed regular routes (e.g. daily international hub-to-hub transports) as well as customer-specific insetting options on shipment level. These solutions can be introduced quickly when requested by customers or internal cargo-partner organizations, with emissions savings monitored and reported where required.
Alongside alternative drivetrains and fuels, route optimization, shipment consolidation, high linehaul utilization, and advanced routing technology help reduce mileage, empty runs, and the overall number of vehicles on the road.
