Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF)
Our SAF Program is a strategic initiative designed to help our customers significantly reduce the carbon footprint of their airfreight operations. By utilizing Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), businesses can now achieve CO₂e emission reductions of up to 80% compared to conventional fossil fuels.
The cargo-partner SAF Program is built on a “Book & Claim” system, meaning customers can contribute to the use of sustainable fuel without requiring any changes to their physical logistics setup. This allows for maximum flexibility, as the program is applicable across all airlines and all routes worldwide.
Key Benefits:
SAF is produced from sustainable sources (such as used cooking oils or agricultural waste), offering at least an 80% reduction in emissions compared to traditional jet fuel.
Customers can define how much SAF is applied to their shipment, with typical entry points such as 5%, 10%, or 25%, making it easy to get started even with smaller budgets.
The program can be applied to any airfreight shipment regardless of the airline or route.
Participants receive an official, verified certificate documenting their CO₂e reduction, which can be used for environmental reporting.
