Upcycling of Used Truck Tarpaulins

Reducing our waste and creating employment opportunities in our community – we’ve found a way to turn it into a win-win situation.

In cooperation with “NACHBARINNEN,” a Vienna-based social sewing workshop creating employment opportunities for women with migrant and refugee backgrounds, we give our used truck tarpaulins a second life. Instead of discarding materials that are no longer needed, they are washed, cut, and sewn into new products such as shoulder bags and toiletry bags.
