On November 13, cargo-partner successfully completed the air emergency transport of life-saving HIV medication from Hyderabad, India to Abuja, Nigeria. The consignee was a foreign aid agency who was facing a severe shortage of these essential pharmaceuticals. The timely delivery of the consignment was therefore of life-saving importance.
The shipment consisted of 301 pallets and had a total weight of 66,645 kg. The operation was particularly challenging due to the short-notice request during air freight peak season. Thanks to close coordination with the airline, cargo-partner was able to book an aircraft and meet the humanitarian needs of the client, with a turnaround of less than 3 hours.
