“Retaining our EcoVadis Silver Medal is a strong confirmation of our long-term commitment to sustainability,” said Luca Ferrara, CEO of cargo-partner. “Being ranked in the 85th percentile by EcoVadis underscores the continuous efforts of our teams worldwide to embed ESG principles into our daily operations and develop practical, future-oriented logistics solutions. We see this recognition as both an achievement and a motivation to keep advancing our sustainability agenda.”

EcoVadis is one of the world’s leading providers of corporate sustainability ratings, assessing companies across four key themes: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. Businesses are evaluated on a scale from 0 to 100, with medals awarded based on their overall performance.

Consistent performance in a dynamic sustainability landscape
After improving from Bronze to Silver last year, cargo-partner has now successfully maintained its Silver status with the same strong overall score of 72 points. The new scorecard is valid until March 26, 2027 and reflects the company’s continued dedication to responsible business practices across environmental, social, and governance (ESG) areas.

Empowering people and ensuring fair conditions
An integral component of this year’s success is cargo-partner’s focus on its global workforce. The company is dedicated to ensuring fair working conditions and fostering an environment where every employee can thrive. Central to this is the continuous development of employee capabilities, ensuring the team is equipped for the future of logistics. Furthermore, cargo-partner remains committed to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI), recognizing that a diverse workforce is a key driver of innovation and resilience.

Uncompromising ethical standards and governance
cargo-partner operates under a robust framework of integrity and corporate compliance. This includes a comprehensive Charter and a detailed Code of Conduct covering human rights, anti-corruption, and fraud prevention, with mandatory adherence for all employees. To ensure transparency, the company maintains secure internal reporting channels for any ethical concerns. Furthermore, the company has achieved the necessary ISO certifications for information security across almost the entire organization, reinforcing its commitment to data protection and ethical management.

 Sustainable procurement and environmental innovation
In addition to its social and ethical focus, cargo-partner continues to lead in sustainable procurement and environmental initiatives. The company supports customers with a structured sustainability approach built on three pillars: Measure – Optimize – Reduce. Through its supply chain management platform SPOT, the company provides automated, shipment-level GHG emissions data based on recognized international standards. This creates transparency and enables customers to make more informed logistics decisions. Building on this data, cargo-partner helps customers optimize routes, improve capacity utilization, and identify lower-emission transport options.

To support real emissions reductions within the logistics value chain, cargo-partner also offers certified insetting solutions. These include the use of rail transport, electric trucks, and lower-emission fuels such as Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), Sustainable Marine Fuels (SMF), and Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO). The company is also expanding the use of renewable energy at its sites and strengthening environmental management standards across its global operations.

Looking ahead
By maintaining its Silver status through March 2027, cargo-partner reinforces its role as a responsible partner in the global supply chain. The company remains committed to turning sustainability ambitions into measurable action, balancing environmental protection with social responsibility and ethical governance.
