IFS Certification for iLogistics Center Vienna
The audit was passed with an outstanding score of 92.19%, fulfilling the requirements of the certification at a “higher level”. Our team at the iLogistics Center already provide ambient warehousing solutions to a number of clients from the Foodstuffs & Perishables industry. With our newly obtained IFS certification, we look forward to gaining more customers from this industry and continuing to provide outstanding service for foodstuffs logistics.
On a total area of 12,250 m², the iLogistics Center near Vienna Airport provides 24,500 pallet slots and 32,000 spaces for small parts containers. The warehouse is a lighthouse project for sustainable architecture, as it is made completely out of wood, from the wall and roof construction to the façade, with the exception of the elevator shafts. In total, 4,200 m³ of timber were used – this corresponds to a CO₂ reduction of 8,400 tons compared to conventional materials.
