Coronavirus Update (Feb 19)

We would like to share with you the latest information about safety measures related to the coronavirus and their possible impacts on transport operations.

Latest information as of February 19, 2020; 12:30 PM CET:

All cargo-partner offices in Mainland China have reopened, with the exception of Shenzhen, which is scheduled to reopen on February 24, and Wuhan, for which a reopening date has not yet been set. While our physical offices in the affected locations are closed, cargo-partner in China is fully operational. Our staff are working from home and can be reached as usual by email and mobile phone.

The majority of flights out of Wuhan have been canceled and operations at the port of Wuhan are suspended until further notice. Several airlines have announced a suspension of flights to and from China during the coming weeks. Some rail operators have also suspended services from certain locations. Port and railway operators across China have introduced heightened security measures which are expected to cause delays. We remain in close contact with our carriers and customers to ensure a minimal impact on transports and find the best solution for our clients’ shipments.

cargo-partner is taking comprehensive preventative and proactive measures to ensure the protection of our employees’ health and safety. There have been no reports of infection among cargo-partner staff.

We continue to monitor the situation very closely and will keep you updated on a regular basis. The latest information is always available on our website: If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch with your local contact person.
